To make your experience as relaxing and luxurious as possible we wash your hair at a reclining shiatsu backwash choosing a shampoo and conditioner that will specifically benefit your type of hair and finished with a hot towel.

Balayage 

Balayage is the french word meaning to paint. It is a technique that gives a really blended look with no harsh lines or obvious regrowth. It is one of our most popular treatments and is great for any age or hair colour. Check out our gallery for inspiration.

Hair Products

We stock two product ranges at Ego Xcentric and both are at the top of their game and are top of the range. We only use products we really believe will work for our clients that’s why we use Joico and Kevin Murphy. Joico are the the only brand that can boast that it has ARGIplex technology which means that colours last longer whilst protecting the hair from damage. 
Kevin Murphy firstly looks and smells fantastic it wouldn’t look out of place in any spa…secondly it is cruelty free, also free of any parabens or sulphates and contains essential oils which not only leave your hair smelling great but looking fabulous and glossy too. Their products are really simply to use and really do what they say on the tin.

Massage/Hot towel

Whilst enjoying having your hair washed which most people (including ourselves) would say is their favourite part of coming to the salon we make it extra indulgent. Our backwash chairs give you a relaxing shiatsu massage whilst we shampoo and massage your hair and scalp. We personally select the right shampoo and conditioner for your desired end result and condition of your hair and finish it off with a hot towel which eases any tension from the scalp and helps the conditioner penetrate deeper into the hair. 

4 Step Conditioning treatment by Joico

Restoring and rebuilding both the cuticles and the cortex of the hair our 4 step treatment will not only make our hair look and feel brand new it will actually fix the issue that you are having with your hair. Whether that be dry brittle hair, chemical damage, static or unruly or even tangled hard to brush hair the list is endless. If your colour never seems to last then look no further, have this treatment before a colour and be amazed at the longevity your colour has. We didn’t believe it either until we tried it on ourselves and trust us it works!!!
